All About Fish’s Annual Reef Rescue!

Maui Spearfishing Academy was happy to join All About Fish in their annual Reef Rescue where we helped about 50 divers from multiple islands to remove over 75 invasive reef fish in not much more than 3 hours of water time! With a solid team of MSA guides Chris, Joey and Bobby, we were able to catch the second largest number of Roi with 8! Great food and prizes were available after the event, with more gear going to those who caught more fish, but with special raffles for items like guns, free dive classes and fishing charters available to all who were present. Thank you to all the divers who joined in for this great example of a conservation minded community, and thank you to All About Fish for all the hard work creating, running and promoting it!!
